The Shelter Bay Golf Group plays on the second and fourth Mondays —
April through October — and from November through March on the second
Monday only.
The
format is a four person scramble and is for all levels of golfers. The
purpose of the group is to have fun, so it doesn't matter how you play;
you will fit right in with the group. Tee time is 2 PM and the fee is
$2.00, payable when you check in to play.
The Monday evenings
are in connection the the golf group but ALL RESIDENTS are invited to
come for hors d’oeuvres and a relaxing evening. The seating is all
arranged, so you don't have to worry about where to sit. This is a good
way to meet new friends. Social time is 4:30 PM.
There is a
sign-up sheet in the office. This needs to be done by the Friday
afternoon before the golf and hors d’oeuvres. Cost for hors d’oeuvres
is not yet determined but will not exceed $5 per person and checks are
to be made out to Joey Carpenter.
